Lent - Fast, Give, Pray We have now coming to the 2nd week of Lent.  In today Gospel(Mt 20:17-28), what i read is about the temptation. How we human was tempting on something handy. Jesus tells us that to be great is good but are you willing to be servant of all? Because to be great, you have to serve. I ask you Lord, in this lent season, to grant me your grace so that I learn how to serve, to not easily tempted in any way. May I will be well prepared to accept and share your cup. Also, give me strength for your missionary journey and challenges that i may encountered along my way to your cross. I ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen. x Stacy x

If you have difficulties in making a good prayer, here are the most useful tips for prayer. It is call the five finger prayer. Say your prayer accordingly with what each fingers represent from 1-5. Lets get started: 1. Thumbs The nearest finger towards yourself. Pray for your family, relatives friends. Pray for those who are close to you. 2. Index fingers Mostly you use this to point on things, therefore, you shall pray for the educators. Pray for teacher who teaches you, lecturers, supervisor, colleagues and so on. 3. Middle Finger Its the longest fingers among the five. Let it represents the highest authority. Pray for the leaders, politicians and government. 4. Ring Finger The weakest. Pray for those who is suffering from illness, mentally and physically.  5. Little finger/pinky Lastly, the furthest finger from ourselves, this is the time you pray for yourself. It's the second week of 2017. It has been a wonderful beginning for now. As you can see from the picture above, I bought myself the daily gospel (2017). I got this from the RCIA facilitator who happened to be in St Anne's church in Bukit Mertajam and he grab it for us because in Johor, you will never able to get the stock in, not even the Majodi in Plentong. Thank God for this. I kept my pace on spending my early morning before started work on this, from dioceseofmiri blog to this. It was a very handy book with a complete set of important prayer and gospel with explanation plus quote. The size is just slightly bigger than my hand and light weight. Therefore, i really love it. Hye my beloved blog, Here comes the time every each of us would do at the end of December, summarizing what happened for the past 364 days. Reflect on ourselves what we has successfully achieved as set for the year before and probably keeping/bringing over the same resolution for the coming year 2017. I would do mine too here because i found that this existence of this blog makes me feels funny and found how age has changed myself. It's time to move on.  Today marked the 3rd session of my RCIA class. It was a wonderful sharing session. I learnt a lot. This is what i have been waiting for. Cecilia lead us today and she focus on FAITH. FAITH. She asked:"What is God to you?" Ha, tough one, I shared mine. God is everything. In my life, He never failed to put me into roller coaster ride. Like others mentioned in the class, God can give you, He can took it away too in split second. That is so true. But one thing i can be sure with now is my life change from never went to church to attend church during Sunday and now i am attending to RCIA class. Faith. As we know God creates the Universe. This week is a special week in my entire 24 years of living. I am here to jot down about my beginning of RCIA journey. What is RCIA? It's my journey towards a practice catholics. I am opening my path heading to the Kingdom of God. 2/7/2016 is the day, which initially almost forgotten by myself. I hope my journey would be a fruitful one and it means my saturday afternoon in coming one year is attending class. I am pretty excited and overjoyed. Hope i would manage to go through this stage!
