RCIA class | Psalm 139
It's time to move on.
Today marked the 3rd session of my RCIA class. It was a wonderful sharing session. I learnt a lot. This is what i have been waiting for. Cecilia lead us today and she focus on FAITH.
FAITH.
She asked:"What is God to you?"
Ha, tough one, I shared mine. God is everything. In my life, He never failed to put me into roller coaster ride. Like others mentioned in the class, God can give you, He can took it away too in split second. That is so true. But one thing i can be sure with now is my life change from never went to church to attend church during Sunday and now i am attending to RCIA class.
Faith.
As we know God creates the Universe. He first made the Sun, sky, day and night, plants, animals and the last one human being before wrap up on the seven day aka Sabbath Day. What we can relate here is God creates all through Word except for human being. What is the difference? We were made from the clay shaped like a human and with the breath from the Him. Therefore, humans are special. Man was made with body and soul.
Faith.
Adam and eve is the first human. God tells them to not eat the fruits from the Tree of Knowledge else they will die. However, they could not obey to His words. They are tricked by the words of serpent. God called them and both Adam and Eve is too ashamed to meet God (acknowledge that they are naked all this time). God punished them. From that moment, woman will bear the pain during childbirth. Serpent will crawl.
In order to restore human, Jesus and Mary is the new Adam and Eve. They are the role model.
If i have not attend this class, i would not even correlate so much towards all this. This is how powerful the bible. Full of the Word of God but through sharing it was beautifully conveyed.
Lastly, before ending the class, Cecilia recommend us to read this psalm. Sometimes, we do not know what is inside ourself. Not even us or any other people but only God. Read through this psalm to seek for His guidance.
Psalm 139.
LORD, you have examined me and you know me.
You know everything I do;
from far away you understand all my thoughts.
You see me, whether I am working or resting;
you know all my actions.
